I chose some of the actors, actresses and directors but I'll obviously miss someone (sorry). I'm sorry for that, but in the end all the categories I'm writing about are incomplete. I hope you will find it interesting anyway. ;)
Non so quanto lungo sarà questo post perché il cinema negli anni '60 è un'argomento molto importante! Ho scelto alcuni attori, attrici e registi ma ovviamente dovrò lasciare qualcuno fuori (purtroppo). Mi dispiace ma alla fine tutti gli argomenti che ho trattato non erano completi. Spero che lo troverete comunque interessante. ;)
Brigitte Anne Marie Bardot - french actress, singer and model.
She's born in Paris in 1934.
When she was 18 she married director Roger Vadim but they divorced five years later. After another bad - gone realtionship she attempted suicide.
Today she's involved in Animal Activism. She is vegetarian.

She was born in 1938 and she died in 1982.
She was born in Vienna but she raised in Germany with her mother and younger Brother. Her father left the family when she was young. A lot of her relatives, including her parents and grandparents were actors. She played "Sissi" in several movies, which are her most famous ones. She started being depressed and had some problems with alcohol, especially after two divorces and the death of one of her two children. She died at the age of 44 and she rests near Paris, where she died, near to his son.

After World War II they moved to Naples. She started her acting carreer in Italy, but her success soon became Worldwide. Her main period of activity is between the '60s and the '70s. She then married italian film producer Carlo Ponti and had 2 children. Her sister married Benito Mussolini's son and had a daughter, Anna Mussolini.

She was born in 1926 and died in 1962.
Norma Jane Mortenson/Baker was born in Los Angeles. Her mother Gladys never revealed who her real father was, on her Birth certificate her father is Mortenson but she soon changed her surname to Baker, another husband. Marilyn denied both of them as her father. Gladys was mentally unstable so little Norma was placed to live with several different foster parents. She became famous as an actress in the late '40s but her main roles were in the '50s.
She was very famous until 1962 when she died but she remains til today an important image of popular culture. She's been married three times but had some love affairs also with Robert Kennedy.

Born in 1932 and died in 2011.
Her parents were both american but they were living in London when Elizabeth was born, so even if she's english she's Always lived in the USA since the beginning of World War II.
She started playing in movies at the end of 1940's when she was very Young but her major roles were from the '50 to the '70 so I choose to put her among the 60s actrsses because she was in her Golden Age during this decade.
During 80s, 90s and 2000s she continued her acting career but only with secondary roles.
She had been married 8 times, had 3 children and a lot of grandchildren and grandgrandchildren.
She became Hebrew at the age of 27.
Entrambi i genitori erano americani che vivevano a Londra quindi lei è nata là e viene definita inglese ma è naturalizzata americana sia per il fatto che i suoi genitori lo erano e anche perché è andata a vivere negli Stati Uniti quando è iniziata la Seconda Guerra Mondiale.
Ha iniziato a recitare nei suoi primi film già alla fine degli anni '40 quando era ancora molto giovane ma i suoi ruoli principali e più famosi li ha avuti tra gli anni '50 e '70 quindi ho scelto di inserirla negli attori anni '60 perché è stato un po' il suo "periodo d'oro".
Tra anni '80, '90 e '00 ha continuato la sua carriera di attrice ma rimanendo in secondo piano.

Roman Polanski was born in 1933 in Paris and Sharon Tate was born in Dallas in 1943.
Sharon Tate was an american actress during the 60s, although she wasn't very famous for her acting roles, she became more famous when she married with Roman Polanski in 1967.
She always lived in Italy before the 60s.
She became one of the victims of Charles Manson when she was killed by some members of the Charles Manosn Family in 1969, she was pregnant.
She was buried with her son Paul Polanski.
Roman Polanski's parents were polish who lived in France. They were agnostics, and so is their son.
The family was living in Poland when World War II began, they were persecuted because they had Jewish origins and Roman couldn't attend school anymore. Both his parents were brought to concentration camps where his mother was killed. After the war he reunited with his father but a couple of years later he died from cancer.
His biggest passion was cinema and soon after he attended a Cinema School in Poland he started his directing career. The 60s and the 70s were his most productive phases, but he continued during the 80s, 90s, 00s and 10s. Even though he directed less movies they had all a big success.

Born in 1930 and died in 1980.
One of the most famous and important Actors during the 60s and 70s. His father abandoned the family soon after he was born and Steve was sent to live with an uncle in Missouri. At the age of 12 he returned in LA to live with his mother but he was a rebel and was sent to a correction institute and when he came out he became a Marine in the late 40s.
During the 50s he studied acting and he played his first part in 1955.
He died in 1980 in Mexico. He married 3 times: Neile Adams in 1956 and they had 2 children but one of them died in 1998, they divorced in 1972.
In 1973 he married Ali MacGraw but they divorced in 1979.
The last wife, Barbara Minty, married him 10 months before his death.

He became atheist and he started playing the clarinet when he was young.
When he was 20, he married a 17 years old girl but they divorced in 1962.
In 1966 he marries Louise Lasser but they divorced in 1969.
During the 70s he met Diane Keaton (in the picture), one of the best actresses of the 70s and they started a relationship. Even if they never married Diane was always defined as the woman of his life.
During the 80s he has a relationship with Mia Farrow and they adopt 2 children and then they also had a biological one.
He married for the third time in 1997 with an adoptive daughter of Mia Farrow.
He has an average of 1 film per year and it's one of the most productive directors.
